90s generation throwback #1

as a 90s kid, i LOVE coming across crossover rock/alt-rock-pop that i remember from my younger years. 98.7 in LA is one of my favorite radio stations on the planet because of they frequently play third eye blind and remind me why songs like "blue" by eiffel 65 and "unwell" by matchbox twenty were so appealing when i was growing up. driving home from work the other day, i came across "wherever you will go" and of course... I WAS STOKED. needless to say, i jammed prettty hard.

thoughts upon watching the video 9 years after the song was released:
1. when i was 11, i would have been INFATUATED with any boy who looked like the lead singer of the calling. blonde hair, big eyes, "intense" facial expressions, and lovesick lyricism. but now, he REALLY creeps me out. everytime he looks in the general direction of the camera i want to look away. i wonder what would happen if this band came out today.

2. cool hair JUST KIDDING.

3. i really don't think these guys would be hanging out anywhere near graffiti.

4. THIS SONG COULD NOT BE ANY CATCHIER.

5. i'm putting this on my next car mix.
